Mission: Wardrobe Refresh

200019728-001

Friend and fellow blogger Elisabeth Carr of mission:closet wrote a great piece, “Wardrobe Refresh,” published earlier this week in Mission Local, for San Francisco’s Mission District pub. As the new year came around, and living in Minnesota, I took a moment to feel the fashion blahs, as style goes to the wayside for thermal underwear and wool sweaters. Beautifully timed, Elisabeth’s article offers helpful tips for striking up wardrobe inspiration, including how to edit your closet, how to find your signature style, and where to source inspiration.

You can also use places like Fashionair’s “My Fashion File” to keep track of looks you love and create your own signature style, all online. Or, if you’re more into tracking styles straight from the runway, you can create your own “My Fashion Album” from New York Magazine to upload and save runway images (and take a peek at what others are collecting, too). However, if you’re looking for a style expert to cast their fashion-dos on you, check out One Hundred by Nina Garcia or Rachel Zoe’s Style From A to Zoe.
